Instead of covering that up with artificial flavours or sweeteners, we chose a bold, tart berry profile to complement the bitterness while keeping the ingredients clean and functional. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, bitterness is actually considered an important taste — especially for supporting heart and liver health, and promoting emotional balance.

That said, we totally understand that this flavour isn’t for everyone. Some customers love that it's different and more 'medicinal,' while others prefer the more neutral flavours of our other blends.
